馬克杯在長時間燒成之下，火勢行走的方向、落灰的堆積與釉層的流動彼此交織，使杯身表面自然形成如同拼布般的視覺結構。

器表可見藍灰、鐵褐、土黃與灰白等色層交錯分布，釉藥在高溫中產生滲化、結晶與流痕，有的區域呈現顆粒狀灰釉肌理，有的則因釉流下垂而形成垂直的色帶。這些色塊並非刻意配置，而是在柴燒條件下，由火焰、灰分與時間共同作用所留下的結果，彼此重疊、拼接，卻保留高度的自然性與不確定性。

整體視覺介於秩序與隨機之間：色塊有其節奏，卻不追求對稱；層次清楚，卻不刻意收束。杯口與內部多維持相對安定的釉面，使器物在使用時保有溫潤手感，外部則保留柴燒特有的粗礦與野性，使日常使用與燒成痕跡之間形成對話。

每一只馬克杯都是柴燒當下條件的直接紀錄，無法複製，也不追求完全一致。它們所呈現的，是火焰在時間中留下的拼布式痕跡，讓日常器物承載了柴燒獨有的風土感與時間深度。
